The owners of Coyote Station Guesthouse, Ty and Sheree Clark, will do everything they can to make you feel welcome at their nine-bedroom guesthouse, because they consider the Round Top community to be one big family who are always there for each other – Ty says, “I’m so happy here, I almost can’t stand it.”

Coyote Station is the perfect spot for any year-round stay in Round Top. Boasting nine newly-constructed rooms, the guesthouse was purchased while Ty and Sheree were visiting Round Top for the Antiques Show. Each room has its own bathroom, refrigerator and microwave, with plans for an 11-cabin expansion in the works.

During your stay at Coyote Station, drop by Mesquite Mesa – the guesthouse’s in-house furniture emporium. The store is named for the mesquite-topped tables sold there, and Ty and Sheree work with local blacksmiths and iron workers who supply the bases. Each table features a unique inlay made of turquoise, mother-of-pearl or resin. The emporium also sells other common household items made of mesquite wood, such as coat and hat racks, as well as copper tables.

Ty and Sheree moved from the Houston area and have grown to love it in Round Top. They especially love the quiet of the country and the friendliness of the Round Top residents, says Ty. “I’ll do everything I can to stay here – all of the people are so friendly and there’s a great sense of community within our town. Everybody tries to help each other out.”
